Divisibility by 3

Any number is said to be divisible by 3 if the sum of digits of that number is divisible by 3.

For example: Is 134568 divisible by 3?

Sum of all digits of number 134568 is (1+3+4+5+6+8) = 27.

Now 27 ÷ 3 = 9, i.e. 27 is divisible by 3.

So, 134568 is divisible by 3.
